Trend Ventures is always interested in talking to investors about the companies portfolio of ideas and opportunities. Most of our ideas are seed funded by Mike Stemple and his brothers Tom and Chris enabling us to verify the concept and test it in the marketplace. With the declining costs associated with starting a company and the ability for multiple portfolio ideas to share in startup resources, Mike Stemple has become very efficient at launching ideas and creating companies. This efficiency has lowered the need to raise significant amounts of capital for any one idea or company. Unfortunately many investors have fund minimums that they need to invest and realized that the same amount of time is needed to manage a small investment as a big investment.
It was proposed to Mike Stemple by a VC friend that he should create an "Idea Fund" that enables an investor to fund a range of ideas with one financing while meeting fund investment minimums and taking the same amount of time to oversee and manage.
Hence, Trend Ventures is now offering investors the chance to invest in "Idea Funds". An "Idea Fund" is a grouping of Trend Venture ideas or companies that are in need of growth capital. Mike Stemple oversees all of Trend Ventures portfolio ideas and companies and is the primary contact for further information. |
